There are several possible causes of problems encountered when connecting between Huawei Health and the Fddb app.
Please check the following points step by step:
1. The apps you installed are not up to date.
Please check if you
- have installed the Fddb app version 4.6.0 (699) or newer. Please upgrade if necessary.
- have at least Android 7.0 (API 24) installed. Please upgrade if necessary.
- uses the Huawei Health app version 11.0.1.512 or higher and possibly update directly from the HUAWEI AppGallery.
- HMS Core must also be up to date, but at least version 5.0.4.300. Please try to update once. You can update the version directly from HUAWEI AppGallery. To do this, go to the App Store and navigate to Manager > Updates > HMS Core 5.0.

2. You have not set all necessary permissions for data sharing.
Please proceed as follows:
- Open the HUAWEI Health app.
- Go to "Me" in the bottom right corner.
- Navigate to the "Privacy Management" menu item.
- Then go to the "Data Sharing and Authorization" section.
- There you will find the Fddb app listed. Press the small arrow on the right edge and check if you have set all data sharing permissions. If necessary, activate the respective ticks.
- Don't forget to press "Done" at the end. Only then are your settings saved.

3. Your Huawei Health is not correctly linked to your Huawei ID.
Please check the link to HUAWEI Health Kit as follows:
- Open the HUAWEI Health app.
- Go to "Me" in the bottom right corner.
- Navigate to the "Privacy Management" menu item.
- Scroll down to the "HUAWEI Health Kit" area and check whether the switch is activated.
