Fddb calculates your daily calorie limit based on your personal data (age, gender, height and weight). For this purpose, the value is calculated using the so-called Harris-Benedict formula.
If you would like to enter an individual value for your daily calorie limit, please proceed as follows:
Android users:
- Go to "Account" in the bottom menu.
- Go to the settings wheel in the top right.
- Go to the "My Account" section.
- Go to "Calorie limit".
- Enter your own desired value and press save.
- If you want our app to recalculate the value automatically, please select the second point with the suggested value and don't forget to press "Save".
iOS users:
- Go to "More" in the bottom menu.
- Go to "My Account".
- Go to "Calorie limit".
- Enter your own desired value and press the check mark to save.
- If you want our app to recalculate the value automatically, please tap on "Calculate automatically" at the blue bar first and afterwards on the tick to save your changes.
Website users:
- Go to the "My Fddb" tab.
- Go to the "Settings" tab.
- Go to "Required" and click "Edit".
- Enter your own desired value and press save.
- If you want Fddb to recalculate the value for your daily calorie limit automatically, please click on "Automatically" and on Save.
