First, please check very carefully whether the product you are missing is not already registered in the Fddb database. Try it with or without an EAN code, hyphenation or combination, manufacturer name or related terms. Our experience shows that you can often find the product you want in this way and save yourself having to enter the product.
If you miss a product or a food, feel free to add it. To do this, proceed as follows:
- If you're using the Fddb app, go to the search section in the diary and tap the plus icon in the top-right corner. Next, a window will open where you can specify whether the product was purchased with or without a barcode, or if it was homemade. Now you can enter all the details for the missing product, import them using the nutrition scan, and upload a photo.
- If you use our website, go to the "Calorie table" area and click on the "Add new product" link in the navigation. Then fill out the following form with the information you have about the product and press "Save" at the end.
