The Fddb app is available in the following languages:
- German
- English
- French
- Italian
- Dutch
- Polish
- Swedish
- Spanish
On the Fddb website, you can choose between German and English.
Settings for Android devices:
- Go to “Account” in the bottom right-hand menu.
- Then go to the settings wheel in the top right-hand corner.
- Scroll down to the "Interface" menu item.
- Under "Language", choose between the languages listed above to set the app language.
- Under "Database", choose between the countries where the languages mentioned above are spoken. Select the country/region where you buy your food.
Settings for iOS devices:

You can only use the Fddb app in the language you have selected in your device settings. The Fddb app automatically adopts the language settings of your device. - Food database:
- In the Fddb app, go to "More" in the bottom menu on the far right.
- Go to "Settings".
- Under "Food database", select the country/region where you buy your food.
Settings for the website:
- On the website, you can only choose between German and English. To do this, go to "Language" in the upper right corner.
- Select between "German" and "English". If you select "English", you will automatically use the English database.
Please note:
The availability of foods may vary depending on the country/region selected. The German database currently includes far more products than the other databases.
