The Fddb app calculates your daily requirement during your registration using a formula made up of individual elements:
- Harris-Benedict formula (calculation of your basal metabolic rate based on your height, gender, weight and age) +
- your set goal (lose weight, gain weight, maintain weight) +
- your entered activity level (light, medium, heavy) +
- your set value for the slider, how much % of the daily requirement you want to consume.
Attention:
Fddb estimates your daily requirement as well as possible. However, everyone is different. Your real daily requirement can be higher or lower. If you do competitive sports or have special illnesses, the calculated daily requirement will differ greatly from your real daily requirement.
