In order to add beverages (e.g. soft drinks, juices, teas or coffee drinks) already tracked in the diary to the water tracker, the following two requirements must be met:
- The water amount of the respective product must be included in the database.
- In the app settings, under ‘Water tracker’ > ‘Take food into account’, the slider must be activated to at least ‘Liquid’.
Please check whether these two aspects are met. To do so, proceed as follows:
Checking the water content of the product in question
- Go back to your diary and press on the respective entry.
- Scroll down to macronutrients. Check whether a value is displayed under ‘Water’.
- If not, the required water amount is missing and must be added.
You can find all information about how to do so in the article ‘The information about a product seems to be incorrect, how can I correct it?’.
Checking the water tracker settings
- Open the app settings by going to ‘More’ (iOS) or ’Account’ (Android) in the navigation bar at the bottom right and then go to ‘Settings’ (iOS) or press the settings wheel at the top right (Android).
- Check under ‘Water tracker’ in the ‘Take food into account’ section if at least the ‘Liquid’ slider is activated.
- If not, do so and activate this slider.
Finally, go back to the water tracker on the dashboard. Check there whether the beverage from your diary is now included in the calculation. It may help to ‘pull to refresh’ by dragging the view down with your finger.
