If product scanning does not work, there could be several causes.
It is possible that the scanned product or the associated EAN code is not yet in our database, which is why no results can be displayed. In this case, please search for the product name and the associated manufacturer. If you find the product in this way, you can add the EAN code via "Correct information".
If you can't find it using the text search either, you can add the product and thus help improve our database.
It is also important for successful scanning that the barcode is easily recognizable and legible. It is very helpful to smooth out the barcode and ensure that it is well lit while scanning. Barcodes printed on round packaging (e.g. cans or bottles) are sometimes difficult to scan if the barcode is not printed vertically.
