You can import your activity energy recorded with Apple Health, as well as your weight data, into the Fddb app. This only works on iPhones, not on iPads or Android devices.
To ensure that the data import from Apple Health is successful, please follow these steps:
- Make sure you are using the latest version of the Fddb app, at least version 4.0.12. If necessary, update the app from the Apple App Store.
- In the Fddb app, tap "More" in the bottom-right corner, then go to "Trackers & Apps".
- Press connect" in the Apple Health window.
- In the settings, specify whether you want to import activity and/or weight data.
- Also define the starting date for the data import.
- Once the connection is established, your activity data from Apple Health will be imported and displayed into your Fddb diary.
Please also check whether you have given permission in the Apple Health app to allow Fddb access to your Apple Health data. To do this, go in the Apple Health app to your account and select "data protection -> Apps", select "Fddb" and activate everything under "Fddb is allowed to read data".
Please note:
- In older versions of the Fddb app (prior to 4.0.12), only the data for individual sports activities and steps tracked in Apple Health were listed. Activity energy was not imported as a total value. This led to discrepancies in the display between the Fddb app and Apple Health.
- If you connect Fddb to more than one app, calories burned may be counted twice. Check your connections to other trackers and apps to ensure that activities and other data are not imported multiple times.
